Online Blackjack can be played in every online casino and it’s a very simple game to learn if you don’t know how to already play the game. To begin playing blackjack you need to place the amount of money you want to bet into the spot designated for your bet. Once you have placed your wager on the blackjack table the dealer will deal out the cards in the hand. Each player on the table will be dealt two cards face up including the dealer. The only difference is that the dealer will have one face up card and one face down card.
After the deal is complete in blackjack each player will have the opportunity to take their turn. The player sitting to the left of the dealer will get to act first and it moves clockwise from there. Once it’s your turn you need to decide whether you want to hit, stand, double down and split your pair. The most common moves in blackjack are hitting and standing. When you “hit” it means that you would like another card and when you “stand” it means you want to end your turn. The two other moves you can make are less common, but still really important to learn. When you want to double down it means you want to double your bet and take one more card. When you split your pair it means you want to split your pair and make two separate hands. Splitting your pair will require you to add another bet to the newly made hand.
The goal in blackjack is to try and be closer to 21 then the dealer is after they take their turn. If you go over 21 then you will have busted your hand which means you automatically lose so you want to try and make sure you stay under 21. The card value in blackjack is really simple as well. Aces are worth 1 or 11 depending on which works better for your hand. Face cards and tens are worth 10 and cards 2-9 are worth face value.
Once you’re done your turn the dealer will begin their turn and they need to play by a fixed set of rules. The dealer will always stand when they have 17 or higher in most casinos. If they have 16 or lower then they will hit no matter what. If the dealer busts and you didn’t bust your hand then you will automatically win. If the dealer is dealt an ace as their face-up card then you need to decide whether or not you want to buy insurance. If you buy insurance then you win the bet if the dealer has a blackjack which is an ace and any 10 valued card. Over the long run you don’t want to buy insurance as it isn’t profitable so although it’s an option I would recommend staying away from it.
At the end of the dealer’s turn the dealer will pay out the winners on the table and take away the bets from any players that lost the hand. The players on the table then need to place their bets on the table for the next hand before the dealer can deal out the cards to the everyone.
